This guide will teach you how to set up the connector between Basware and Clarity Security.

Before You Start
- To access the Basware API you need API credentials as well as access to a Basware solution (such as P2P or Supplier management). These will be provided by your Basware delivery project consultant or your technical partner manager.
- Master data and P2P APIs are available through the following regions: Europe (EU), USA (US), Australia (AU) and Canada (CA). APIs will be set up in the same region as your P2P system. Separate environments are available for test and production systems. Please use below URLs when sending requests to Basware API.

How to Setup the Connector
Step 0: Read through the section "Before You Start" as the API information will be provide by your technical partner manager.
Step 1: Log into your Clarity Security Portal
Step 2: Click On Applications. Select Marketplace. Then search for Basware and click connect.
Step 3: Configure the connection.
Copy your api_url, client id, client secret, and company_code from Basware into the matching fields in Clarity.
Step 4: Configure the additional Application Settings.
Complete the App Settings form. Details for each field can be found at the following article: Common App Configuration Steps
Step 5: User Settings
Complete the User Settings form, check the table at the top to see if any features are unsupported. Details for each field can be found at the following article: Common App Configuration Steps
Step 6: Validate Your Selections and Save
Clicking the Save button will trigger the first full sync for your application (even if you selected Manual syncing). This includes Service Users, Entitlements, Service User Entitlements, Service User Attributes.
