This guide will teach you how to set up the connector between Datto RMM and Clarity Security.

How to Setup the Connector
Step 1: Navigate to the following URL to log in to Datto
Step 2: Click Setup, then Users
Click the setup, then Users using the left hand navigation menu on the left side of the Datto landing page.
Step 3: Locate your username in the list
On the Users list, search for the account you signed into Datto with.
Step 4: Scroll to the API section
Scroll to the API section, then click the Generate API Keys button.
Step 5: Copy the API URL, Key, and Secret Key
Copy the API URL, API Key, and API Secret Key from this screen and save these for configuration in later steps.
Step 6: Log in to Clarity Security tenant
https://your-tenant.claritysecurity.io/
Step 7: Click on Applications, then Marketplace
Step 8: Find Datto RMM, click Connect
Scroll or search for the Datto RMM entry in the Marketplace list, then click Connect.
Step 9: Connect App
Complete the App Settings form. Details for fields common to all applications can be found in the following article: Common App Configuration Steps.
- api_key: Paste the key displayed in Step 5.
- api_secret: Paste the secret displayed in Step 5.
- api_url: Paste the URL displayed in Step 5.
Step 10: App Settings
Complete the App Settings form. Details for each field can be found in the following article: Common App Configuration Steps.
Step 11: User Settings
Complete the User Settings form, check the table at the top to see if any features are unsupported. Details for each field can be found in the following article: Common App Configuration Steps.
Step 12: Validate Your Selections and Save
