This guide will teach you how to set up the connector between Emarsys and Clarity Security.

How to Setup the Connector
Step 1: Log in to Emarsys
Step 2: Navigate to Admin > Security Settings
Navigate to the Admin, then the Security Settings page. On the Security Settings page, look for the API sub-section.
Step 3: Create an API user
In the API Users section of Security Settings, click the Create API user button to create the new user. Provide a descriptive name for the API user.
Step 4: Collect the user name and secret
Once you create your API user, you will be presented with a screen showing you the username you created and the generated secret value. Collect both of these values for a later step.
It can take up to 5 min for the API users to be activated.
Step 5: Log in to your Clarity Security tenant

Step 6: Click on Applications, then Marketplace
Step 7: Find Emarsys
Scroll to or search for Emarsys in the Marketplace list, then click Connect.
Step 8: Connect App
Complete the App Settings form. Details for fields common to all applications can be found in the following article: Common App Configuration Steps.
- username: Paste the User name value from Step 4.
- secret: Paste the Secret value from Step 4.
Step 9: App Settings
Complete the App Settings form. Details for each field can be found in the following article: Common App Configuration Steps.
Step 10: User Settings
Complete the User Settings form, check the table at the top to see if any features are unsupported. Details for each field can be found in the following article: Common App Configuration Steps
Step 11: Validate Your Selections and Save
