How to Setup the Connector

Step 1: Log in to Salesforce

Step 2: Click the Gear icon and then Setup

Step 3: Search for App Manager

  • Connected App Name: Clarity Security Connector
  • API Name: Auto-filled
  • Contact Email: support@claritysecurity.io
  • Contact Phone: 979-398-5512
  • Logo Image URL: Blank
  • Icon URL and Info URL: Blank
  • Description: Clarity Security application connector to enable provisioning and deprovisioning.
  • Enable OAuth Settings: CHECK
  • Callback URL: https://TENANT_NAME.claritysecurity.io/application/oauthProcessCode/salesforce
  • Require Secret for Web Server Flow: CHECK
  • Require Secret for Refresh Token Flow: CHECK

Step 6: Review the settings and click Save

Step 7: Click Continue when prompted

Step 8: Copy the Consumer Key and Consumer Secret into a secure location

Step 9: Log in to Clarity Security

Step 10: Click On Applications and select Marketplace

Step 11: Search for Salesforce and click Connect

Step 15: Validate Your Selections and Save

Save
Clicking the Save button will trigger the first full sync for your application (even if you selected Manual syncing).  This includes Service Users, Entitlements, Service User Entitlements, Service User Attributes.
