This guide walks you through how you remediate items in Clarity Access Review.
Before you begin
User Access Review Examples
The images below were taken from a User Access Review. If you are performing a different category of review, the options and wording may differ.
Remediation may be required when an access denial for an item occurs on the review. The system will deprovision, delete, or deactivate access as indicated.
Manual Deprovision is for tenants that are not using Lifecycle Management (LCM).
Selecting Manual Deprovision will cause the objects status to change to Pending Manual Remediation.
Pending Manual Remediation status will clear when the application syncs and the Remediated items are complete.
Clarity checks for these changes each morning.
Completed Remediated items will be listed as Remediation Complete.
If you have Provisioning/Deprovisioning enabled in both your Clarity tenant, and the respective applications, we can choose Auto Deprovision.
Auto Deprovision will automatically deprovision access or delete/deactivate accounts depending on the scenario and review category.
Remediation Complete
Once either Manual Deprovision or Auto Deprovision is complete, the review will move to the Ready to Finalize tab of the Access Reviews. From here you can click on the Actions menu, and choose Finalize.
After reviews are Finalized, we will find them in the Completed tab.
At this stage we can select the View All or Export options for a review, but no further changes can be made to the review items.
