This guide will teach you how to set up the connector between Marketo and Clarity Security.

How to Setup the Connector
Step 1: Log in to Marketo
Step 2: Click on Users & Roles
Step 3: Click on the Roles tab and then select New Role
Assign the following permissions to the role in the Access API group:
- “Access Users” permission from the Access Admin group
- “Access User Management Api” from the Access API group
Step 4: Give the Role a descriptive name and click Create
Step 5: Go back to the Users tab and click Invite User
Give your user a descriptive name that indicates that it is an API user, as well as an Email Address and click on Next
Step 6: Check the API Only option and assign the API role you previously created
Step 7: To complete the procees, click on Send
Step 8: Go back to the Admin menu and click LaunchPoint
Step 9: Click on the New menu and select New Service
Give your service a descriptive Display Name and Description and select Custom from the Service dropdown menu.
Step 10: Click on View Details for your new service to access the Client ID and Client Secret
Step 11: Navigate to the Web Services menu
Step 12: Find the Endpoint in the REST API box and save in a note for now
Step 13: Log in to Clarity Security
Step 14: 14. Click On Applications and select Marketplace
Step 15: Search for Marketo and click Connect
Step 16: Fill out the Connect App form

Step 17: Fill out the App Settings form
Step 18: Fill out the User Settings form
The table at the top of this article lists the supported features of this connector.
Step 19: Validate Your Selections and Save
Clicking the Save button will trigger the first full sync for your application (even if you selected Manual syncing). This includes Service Users, Entitlements, Service User Entitlements, Service User Attributes.
