Configuring the Integrated Application within Oracle

  1. Log in to your Oracle Cloud tenant

  2. Navigate to Identity & Security and select Overview

  3. Select the Domains tab on the left, and then the relevant Domain

  4. Click Integrated Applications then Add App and choose Confidential App

  5. Create a name and description to help in identifying the purpose of the App then click Next

    1. You do not need to set any further options or settings

  6. In the Client Configuration section check Client Credentials and Refresh Token

  7. Add the Audit Admin role in the Roles section

    1. The Audit Admin role lets you read all in the environment, but enact no changes

  8. Under Auth Resources select All unless you have specific domains you are connecting to

  9. Skip and Do Later on the Config Policy page

  10. Navigate to the Integrated App you created and copy the Client ID and Client Secret

  11. Navigate to the Default Domain and copy the Tenant URL

    1. You will remove :443 from the URL when adding this to Clarity

Configuring the Integration within Clarity

  1. Select Applications and then Marketplace

  2. Search or scroll and find Oracle Cloud Identity Domain

    1. Oracle Cloud IAM does not use Oracle’s Integrated Applications, and has a different configuration process

  3. If desired, rename the Application

  4. You will be prompted to configure the client_id, client_secret, and tenant_url you copied previously from Oracle

  5. If desired, or there are more than one Oracle Cloud Identity Domain integrations preset, change the Unique Identifier

  6. Click Validate

  7. Fill out the Connect App form

  8. Configure the User Settings and Save

  9. Select your newly connected Integration and validate the data

    1. Some larger integrations may take time before the sync is complete
