This guide will teach you how to set up the connector between PagerDuty and Clarity Security.

How to Setup the Connector
Step 1: Log in to PagerDuty

Step 2: Click Integrations > Developer Mode
Step 3: Click Create New App
Step 4: Fill out the Build an App form
Step 5: Configure the Application
- Select an available partner app: PagerDuty
- Access via: API
- client_id: Copy and paste your Client ID from Step 4
- client_secret: Copy and paste your Client Secret from Step 4
- serviceName: App\Services\Integrations\PagerDutyService
- Unique Identifier: PagerDuty
- Sync Options: Hourly
We recommend Hourly syncing. This controls how often our platform reaches out to PagerDuty to pull the current state of users and entitlements. More frequent syncing ensures provisioning events outside the Clarity platform are identified and logged.
- What is the provisioning method for this app?: OAuth
- Deactivate users on termination: Optional - selection recommended
- Delete users on termination: Optional - business decision
Deletion will completely remove the user account.
- This is our HR Application: Ignore, do not select.

Step 6: Log in to Clarity Security
Step 7: Click On Applications and select Marketplace
Step 8: Search for PagerDuty and click Connect
Step 8: Fill out the Connect App form

Step 9: Fill out the App Settings form
Step 10: Fill out the User Settings form
Step 11: Validate Your Selections and Save
