This guide will show you how to set up the integration between Paylocity and Clarity Security.

Configuring in your Downstream Application
Step 1: Log in to your Paylocity tenant
Step 2: Navigate to HR & Payroll > Company Set > User Access > SSO Configuration
Step 3: Select SCIM User Provisioning
Step 4: Select Toggle for Enable SCIM User
Step 5: Create a Username and Password
Step 6: Re-enter to confirm the password
Step 7: Adjust filters as needed
Include Non-Employees
All non-employees get included in the SCIM export
Include All Employees
All employees get included in the SCIM export
Configuring the Integration within Clarity
Step 8: Login to your Clarity Security tenant
https://your-tenant.claritysecurity.io/
Step 9: Click on Applications, then Marketplace
Step 10: Find Paylocity
Scroll to or search for Paylocity in the list of applications from the marketplace, then click Connect.
Step 11: Connect App
Complete the Connect App form. Details for fields common to all applications can be found at the following article: Common App Configuration Steps
Step 12: App Settings
Complete the App Settings form. Details for each field can be found at the following article: Common App Configuration Steps
Step 13: User Settings
Complete the User Settings form. Details for each field can be found at the following article: Common App Configuration Steps
Step 14: Validate Your Selections and Save
Validate the selections from Configure App Step 3, and hit the Save button.
Save
Clicking the Save button will trigger the first full sync for your application (even if you selected Manual syncing). This includes Service Users, Entitlements, Service User Entitlements, Service User Attributes.
Step 15: Select Login and authenticate with the SCIM user set up previously
