This guide will teach you how to set up the connector between Qlik and Clarity Security.

Supported Connector Capabilties

Below are the capabilities supported by the connector at this time.

How to Setup the Connector

Step 1: Log in to Qlik

Make note of your subdomain. For example: mv3i4r7zg2hys3.us.qlikcloud.com

Step 2: Click on your avatar in the top right corner and select About

Step 3: Click Copy to clipboard and save the information to be referenced later

Step 5: Click on the grid icon next to your avatar and select Management Console

Step 6: Select the API keys tab and copy the key for your Clarity API

If you do not have an API already created, you will need to generate a new one with an account that has the development role.

Step 6: Log in to Clarity Security

Step 7: Select Applications and then click on Marketplace

Step 8: Search for Qlik and click Connect

Step 9: Fill out the Connect App form

The table at the top of this article lists the supported features of this connector.

Step 12: Validate Your Selections and Save

Save

Clicking the Save button will trigger the first full sync for your application (even if you selected Manual syncing). This includes Service Users, Entitlements, Service User Entitlements, Service User Attributes.
