About Access Hub

Access Hub is a dedicated portal that gives your business users their own place to request, track, and manage access — completely separate from the admin console. Instead of routing everyone through the same technical admin interface, Access Hub gives non-technical users a clean, task-focused experience in plain business language, while admins keep the full-powered console they already know.

When Access Hub is enabled for your organization, business users are taken straight to it after they sign in, landing on a personalized Dashboard. Admins continue to work in the admin console and can switch into Access Hub whenever they want.

  • The right experience for each person. End users see simplified, self-service workflows; admins keep their comprehensive tools. No more asking business users to navigate admin-only screens and terminology.

  • Faster, self-service access. A shopping-cart request flow, one-click approvals, and clear status tracking mean less waiting and fewer help-desk tickets.

  • Your brand, front and center. Access Hub can display your organization's company name and logo, so the portal feels like a natural part of your environment.

  • Files and exports. When enabled, users can access documents and download exports shared with them directly in the portal.

  • Secure by design. Every action is scoped to what a user is allowed to do — managers can only see and act on their own reporting line, and each request is validated against the requester's permissions

  • Role-aware from top to bottom. Access Hub automatically shows each person only the pages, actions, and data appropriate to their role — managers see team tools, end users see a focused self-service view, and admins retain full control and can toggle back to the admin console at any time.

What Users Can Do in Access Hub

Everyone: End Users, Managers, Admins

  • A personalized Dashboard with live "Access Updates" cards — open requests, upcoming expirations, and approved or denied requests — plus quick actions to jump straight into the most common tasks.

  • Request access with a shopping-cart experience. Browse a curated catalog of access bundles and entitlement groups, add what you need to a cart, choose how long you need it, add a justification, and submit it all in one go.

  • Time-limited access built in. Every request has a duration — from 24 hours up to 90 days, or permanent — and access starts from the moment it's approved.

  • Track every request in one place. A single, filterable list shows your in-progress and recently completed requests, with clear Pending / Approved / Denied status.

  • Cancel a pending request you no longer need before it's actioned.

  • See exactly what access you have, organized application-by-application, with clear indicators for active, expiring, expired, and birthright access.

  • Renew or re-request access in a couple of clicks. Expiring, expired, or previously denied access can be re-requested from a pre-filled form — no need to rebuild the request from scratch.

  • Remove access you no longer need, individually or several entitlements at once.

  • Manage your own account with a read-only profile view and self-service password changes (password management is hidden automatically for organizations using single sign-on).

Managers and Admins

  • Request access on behalf of your team. Managers can submit requests for their direct reports — individually or for several team members at once — using the same simple flow.

  • Approve and deny requests where you work. A dedicated "Needs My Action" view surfaces requests waiting on you, with the requester, the access, and their justification all in view. Approve or deny with a reason — one at a time or in bulk.

  • A clear view of your team's access. Toggle between "My Access" and "My Team's Access" to see what your reports currently hold.

  • Drill into any team member. A new Identity Profile view gives managers a tabbed breakdown of a team member's details, their current access, and their open requests — with the ability to request, re-request, or remove access on their behalf.

  • Attribute-based access requests. Managers and admins can create, add to, or remove attribute-based access profiles right from the request experience.

  • Onboard new team members through a streamlined creation flow (available to admins).

  • Participate in Access Reviews without leaving the portal, with a manager-focused review experience.
