The Self Service Portal (SSP) allows a user with Clarity login to utilize several capabilities which include: the ability to request access for themselves, that ability to review assigned Access Review items, or the ability to review/manage/create subordinate employee access.. The particular options on this page (detailed below) are available based on the users access within Clarity (See Clarity Entitlements for more details).


Options

The options you see on the Dashboard for Clarity, will depend on the level of access you have.

Show/Hide Self Service

You may need to click the Show/Hide Self Service button (top left of the Clarity homepage/Dashboard) in order to see these options.

Self Service Options

OptionDescription
New Access for MeClicking the REQUEST button will open the form required for requesting new access for yourself. This can be temporary or permanent access.
New Access for SubordinateUsing the REQUEST button will open an access request on behalf of one of your subordinates.
New SubordinateThis REQUEST button will pop out the modal for creating a new Identity in Clarity. Depending on your tenant configuration, this may provision new accounts in Downstream Applications.
My Access ReviewsClick the REVIEWS button to be taken to the Access Reviews interface and begin handling open access review items assigned to you.
Approvals Needing Your AttentionThis shows the count of any Self Service requests for which you are an approver. Clicking this number will take you to the Alerts > Access Request page where you can take action on these pending Approvals.
My Outstanding RequestsThis shows the count of any still pending Self Service requests you have submitted. Clicking this value will take you to the My Requests page.
My Upcoming ExpirationsThis shows the count of upcoming expiring Entitlements (within 30 days) for your Identity. You can click this value to navigate to the My Access page.
Upcoming Subordinate ExpirationsThis option shows the count of any expiring Entitlements (within 30 days) for any of your subordinates.
