# Site 24x7

This guide will teach you how to set up the connector between [Site 24x7](https://www.site24x7.com) and [Clarity Security](https://claritysecurity.io).

## How to Setup the Connector

### Step 1. Head to [Zoho API Console](https://api-console.zoho.com/).

### Step 2. Click Get Started.

### Step 3. Select Create Now under the "Server-based Applications" card.

### Step 4. Configure the OAuth App settings and click Create.

**App Name**: Choose a descriptive name, such as "Clarity Connector"

**Homepage URL**: Enter "[https://www.claritysecurity.io](http://www.claritysecurity.io/)"

**Authorized Redirect URIs**: Enter “https://[YOUR_CLARITY_DOMAIN].claritysecurity.io/application/oauthProcessCode/site247”

### Step 5. Copy **Client ID** and Client Secret into a secure location.

### Step 6. Log into Clarity Security.

### Step 7. Click on Applications and select Marketplace.

### Step 8. Scroll to find Site 24x7 and click Connect.

### Step 9. Fill out the Connect App form with the proper credentials.

### Step 10. Fill out the App Settings form.

### Step 11. Fill out the User Settings form.

Complete the User Settings form, and check the table at the top to see if any features are unsupported. Details for each field can be found in the following article: [Common App Configuration Steps](/v1/docs/common-app-steps#step-3-user-settings).

### Step 12. Validate Your Selections and Save.

SaveClicking the Save button will trigger the first full sync for your application (even if you selected Manual syncing).  This includes Service Users, Entitlements, Service User Entitlements, Service User Attributes.

A Service User is a user, or service account, discovered by Clarity in a downstream application.

An Entitlement is an assignable permission found in a downstream application. Common examples include licenses, groups, and policies.

Service User Entitlements are the pairings of users and active entitlement access in downstream applications.

An attribute is a piece of information used to describe a service user, entitlement, or identity. Common examples include First Name, Last Name, Job Title, Department, etc.
