This guide will teach you how to set up the connector between Tenable AD and Clarity Security.

How to Setup the Connector
Step 1: Log into your Tenable AD portal by going to your client URL (for example: client.tenable.ad) and click Tenable.AD

Step 2: Click on your user profile icon and select Preferences.
Step 3: From the menu that appears, select API Key and copy it.
Step 4: Log into your Clarity Security Portal
Step 5: Click On Applications. Select Marketplace. Then search for Tenable.AD and click connect.
Step 6: Configure the connection.
Copy your api_key from step 3 and your Tenable AD subdomain into the matching field in Clarity.
If you go to client.tenable.ad to log in, your subdomain is Client
Step 7: Configure the additional Application Settings.
Complete the App Settings form. Details for each field can be found at the following article: Common App Configuration Steps
Step 8: User Settings
Complete the User Settings form, check the table at the top to see if any features are unsupported. Details for each field can be found at the following article: Common App Configuration Steps
Step 9: Validate Your Selections and Save
Clicking the Save button will trigger the first full sync for your application (even if you selected Manual syncing). This includes Service Users, Entitlements, Service User Entitlements, Service User Attributes.
