This guide will teach you how to set up the connector between Webroot SP and Business and Clarity Security.

How to Setup the Connector
Step 1. Log into Webroot.
Step 2. After logging in, click the Settings button on the sidebar.
Step 3. Click the tab Unity API Access in the Settings menu.
Step 4. Click the New button to generate a new access token.
Step 5. In the Name field, enter "Clarity-Connector" and in the Description field, enter "Webroot API Connection to Clarity Security" and click Next.
Step 6. Set "Do you plan to use the event notification API?" to No and click Next.
Step 7. Click Save.
Step 8. Copy the Client ID and Client Secret and save them before you click "I Have Made Note Of The Client Secret".
Note: You cannot retrieve the client secret once you hit that button.
Step 9. In the Settings Menu, click the tab for Account Information & copy the Parent Keycode.
Step 10. Log into Clarity Security.
Step 11. Click on Applications and select Marketplace.
Step 12. Scroll to find Webroot Business or Webroot Service Provider and click Connect.
Step 13. Fill out the form with the Client ID & Client Secret (Step 8), Parent Key (Step 9), Username & Password (The credentials you used for Step 1.) Click Validate.

Step 14. Set your Sync Options, App Owner, Trust Relationship, and Trust Permissions.

Note: A default entitlement is not required for new users.
Step 15. Finish the Users Settings form.
Complete the User Settings form, and check the table at the top to see if any features are unsupported. Details for each field can be found in the following article: Common App Configuration Steps.
Note: Webroot Service Provider allows deactivation (no delete method available), and Webroot Business does not allow deactivation or deletion.
Step 16. Validate Your Selections and Save.
