UAR Look-Back Reports (Change Tracking)
Since User Access Reviews represent access at a "point in time", it’s common for the current state of access to change between when the review was generated and “now”. When that happens, it’s often a challenge to ensure the review contains everything it’s supposed to contain. Someone coming along later looking for a specific piece of access (that was removed) or seeing a piece of access (that was created after the review was started) might think things aren’t complete and accurate.
With Look-Back inspection, Clarity will show all access changes (creation / deletion / remediation) after the review was kicked off (that would have been included in the view if it was run “now”) or access that has since been removed and won’t be found except in the review itself.
This data should make it easy to determine if there’s enough change that an incremental review is justified, or if access changes to a system warrant re-creating the review.
