Impactful Bugs being Hotfixed
Clarity has identified a series of impactful bugs that are being hotfixed on October 31st, 2025 outside of our regular release schedule. Our next scheduled release is mid-November.
Changes in capitalization of a User’s user_identifier on an application could cause User-Entitlements to be missed during an application sync.
If a User’s user_identifier had differing capitalization, that User’s Entitlements could be ignored during an application sync. This would likely only occur in CSV imports with manual involvement, as API’s and on-prem applications won’t modify a user_identifier. We have resolved this to ensure proper matching.
Application Sync safeguard improvement
Application Syncs examine the input data row counts from sync to sync to spot outliers and avoid removing “missing” data when counts drop compared to recent syncs. We have added a minimum of three completed syncs to be included in the calculations in the event that there are no recent syncs.
Entitlement Owners automatically found in application syncs were not being kept.
We have resolved a bug that would immediately remove the just-found Entitlement Owners in application syncs. This did not affect manually added entitlement-owners.
