Here's a summary of the changes coming on April 14th. No downtime is expected.
New and Improved Connectors!
First - New Connectors
Paylocity (Read-Only SCIM Connector)
Paylocity is a popular HR system, and direct integrations of HR to Directories and downstream applications is a huge productivity boost for both HR and IT teams. This is a read-only connector for a primary system of truth.
Atlassian - JIRA Data Center (On-prem) - UAR Only
Clarity has long supported the Cloud version of JIRA, but this release now supports the on-prem Data Center version as well. Learn more about JIRA data center here: https://www.atlassian.com/enterprise/data-center/jira
Second - Improved Connectors
Clarity has identified several friction points that we wanted to address to improve connector performance, close data gaps, and improve control.
Salesforce
Salesforce accounts are now an optional entitlement. Some teams wanted accounts to be tracked as entitlements, but for many customers these were un-expected entitlements and not required.
Okta
Larger Okta instances were experiencing extended sync times, we’ve improved the performance of Okta sync jobs to eliminate a potential source of timeouts.
Ceridian Dayforce
Clarity will now consume Ceridian roles as entitlements, and they can be managed like other entitlements within Clarity.
Connector Sync User Processing Improvement
Clarity has improved the performance of per-user processing during sync jobs. This will reduce the time taken per sync for all applications based on the number of users in the application. We’ve seen performance improvements of minutes to hours (for very large numbers of users).
