This guide will teach you how to set up the connector between Tenable IO and Clarity Security.

How to Setup the Connector
Step 1. Sign in to Tenable.
Step 2. Click the menu button in the upper left corner to open the menu.
Step 3. Click the Settings button in the menu.
Step 4. In the Settings menu, under Account Management, click the button for My Account.
Step 5. Click the link on the left for API Keys and then click the Generate button in the bottom right corner. This will generate an access key & secret key.
Step 6. A warning may appear in the upper right-hand corner; click Continue to generate the keys.
Step 7. Copy your Access Key & Secret Key to be used in Clarity.
Step 8. Log into Clarity Security.
Step 9. Click on Applications and select Marketplace.
Step 10. Scroll to find Tenable IO and click Connect.
Step 11. Fill in the required fields with your access key & secret code that were copied in Step 7, and click the Validate button.
Complete the App Settings form. Details for fields common to all applications can be found in the following article: Common App Configuration Steps.
Step 12. Fill out the App Settings form.
Note: Set the Trust relationship to recipient only. A Default Entitlement is required to continue.

Step 13. Fill out the User Settings form.
Note: Deactivate and Delete users on termination is available for Tenable IO.
Complete the User Settings form, and check the table at the top to see if any features are unsupported. Details for each field can be found in the following article: Common App Configuration Steps.
Step 14. Validate Your Selections and Save.
